King of the Mat (KOM)

• Novice wrestling league

  • First & Second Year Wrestlers 

  • Wrestlers who started in Pre K, are eligible for a third year 

  • Under 12 years old

• Matches consist of weekly Saturday “Jamborees”

  • Multiple informal matches are set up at the event based upon weight, experience and/or aggressiveness.

  • Coaches will set up fair matches

• Our organization may arrange structured dual matches for this level based on time, availability and overall skill of our wrestlers on the novice level

• The KOM league culminates in an end of season tournament early February
